Liisa Ioannidou

Liisa Soderholm-Ioannidou was born in Massachusetts and currently lives in Athens. After completing her BA in English Literature, she later went on to earn an MSc in TESOL from Aston University, UK. From 1989-1993, she worked at ACS Athens in the Optimal Match department and in the Academy, teaching English Literature. She left this wonderful community when she became a mother of two, who are now grown adults. She has been teaching English for over thirty years and continues with dedication and enthusiasm. Ever since her children were young, she has loved storytelling and thus began recording her adventures in writing journals. Finally, after working with an American editor, she has recently published her debut Middle Grade Fantasy Adventure novel, whose plot began to take root after her visit to the Greek island of Chios. Apart from her teaching and writing, Liisa is a zealous athlete, traveler, reader and nature lover.
