Dear ACS Athens Alumni and Friends,
Connecting with you always brings great joy to all of us at ACS Athens; which is why we developed this new alumni platform that will enhance the experience. It is indeed such a pleasure to share in your accomplishments, to reminisce about time spent at the school and to continue to connect and network with one another. ACS Athens is a special school because, among other things, it brings together so many different nationalities, and no matter where you are in the world, joining us and participating in a vision that aims to develop conscious, responsible, global citizens, who will turn knowledge and skill into action for improving living and life on the planet, is a goal that will ultimately benefit each and every one of us.
In order to optimize our connections and improve our sharing and networking experience, we worked diligently to develop and launch this new alumni platform. More aesthetically pleasing and easier to navigate, the new alumni platform is also designed, on the one hand to include more content relevant to school activities, and on the other hand, to share more news from our global community. More importantly, we aim through this platform to welcome and encourage community engagement while promoting global professional, social and cultural networking and involvement. Ultimately, we will be in a position to facilitate easier and more direct ways to contribute/donate/mentor and empower today’s ACS Athens youth to work towards a higher purpose. With a strong educational, cultural and community service foundation and with living examples such as yourselves, who moved on to greater achievements, ACS Athens students will continue to be encouraged to do great things.

On behalf of the ACS Athens Board of Trustees and myself personally as Chairperson, I would like to welcome you to the ACS Athens Global alumni platform that has been “upgraded” to be both easier to navigate and aesthetically pleasing, as we continue to keep our alumni, community, and friends connected.
As many of you know, the ACS Athens Global website was established in October 2014 to connect our alumni with each other both professionally and socially. Supporting the mission of ACS Athens, ACS Athens Global aims to facilitate the connection of its constituents, to actively engage with them, to promote the ACS Athens experience by showcasing the successes of our alumni, and providing networking opportunities. By broadening the ACS Athens experience via the bonds created, ACS Athens Global, aims to encourage Global Conscious Citizens who contribute to improving life and living on the planet.
We are proud of you, our alumni, as you continue to validate through your professional and personal achievements that the excellent education you received at ACS Athens provided the infrastructure for your success today. As a parent of two ACS Athens alumni of the school, I can attest to this wholeheartedly.
ACS Athens Global is a means to stay connected with us and each other, share your stories, and optimally provide opportunities for each other either by connecting with people in your field of university study, people in your relevant career, providing possible mentoring and internship opportunities, etc. Also, through this platform you will have the opportunity to support your alma mater in a variety of ways through educational and cultural events, promoting the mission and vision of the institution, being Ambassadors of the school, and by promoting its programs and initiatives.
I am certain you will enjoy navigating through this new platform and catching up, learning about fellow alumni, the events coming up for both the alumni and the school, and much more. We look forward to your active participation in the many upcoming events and initiatives.
