Dear ACS Athens Parents and Guardians,
On behalf of ACS Athens, it is my pleasure to warmly invite you to our flagship global education forum, the ACS Athens Sustaining Excellence Colloquium II, to be held on April 29–30, 2026, at the ACS Athens Campus in Halandri.
Held once every ten years, the Sustaining Excellence Colloquium is a defining moment in our school’s accreditation cycle and long-term strategic vision within the MSA Accreditation process. It marks the next phase of our continuous improvement journey and reflects our enduring commitment to research-informed practice, innovation, and educational leadership.
This two-day gathering brings together educators, professionals, and thought leaders from around the world to explore how research-driven insights translate into meaningful classroom experiences and effective organizational practices. Just as importantly, it offers space to reflect collectively on how schools must continue to evolve to meet the needs of students in a rapidly changing global landscape.
The 2026 Sustaining Excellence Colloquium II will showcase faculty and staff presentations grounded in their research on critical global themes such as artificial intelligence in education, global conscious citizenship, equity, and inclusive learning environments — conversations central to sustaining educational excellence while remaining deeply human, future-focused, and research-informed.
The program will feature a keynote address, distinguished educational speakers, compelling research showcases, and collaborative learning sessions highlighting innovation and school transformation. You will be able to walk around the school to visit various faculty and staff presentations and displays.
Your presence as parents/guardians will greatly enrich the experience for all participants.
Further details, including registration information and the finalized program schedule, will be available shortly on the ACS Athens Sustaining Excellence Colloquium II website: www.acs.gr/colloquium.
All participants will be required to register through the Whova event management platform. The registration link will be embedded directly on the Colloquium website for easy access. Once registered, you will receive access to the Whova event app, which will serve as the central hub for the event. The app will include the full digital agenda, session sign-ups, practical information, and campus navigation maps.
Warm regards,
Peggy Pelonis, Ed.D.
