Future ACS Athens Global Alumni Lead Change at 22nd Annual Corporate Responsibility Conference

The ACS Athens commitment to nurturing empowered global citizens extends well beyond academics, as our students continually show their potential to inspire positive change and build a better world.

This dedication was on full display at the 22nd Annual Corporate Responsibility Conference, organized by the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, where ACS Athens students – our future ACS Athens Global alumni – participated in a pivotal panel discussion titled "Youth: The Bridge of the Future." Moderated by Ms. Ada Gianneskis, Director of Communications at IKEA, the panel emphasized the vital role young people play in addressing today’s pressing global challenges and shaping tomorrow’s solutions.

Our students presented the impactful “Youth to Youth” Educational and Social Integration Program, a flagship ACS Athens initiative providing essential support for unaccompanied minors in Athens. Through both full-time and part-time offerings, the program fosters student-to-student partnerships between ACS Athens students and refugee minors, addressing educational needs while promoting social inclusion.

Not only does the “Youth to Youth” Program offer refugee minors a meaningful educational experience, but it also provides ACS Athens students with the chance to grow as compassionate, globally minded leaders. As future alumni, these students embody the values of empathy, responsibility, and leadership that define ACS Athens, contributing to a more inclusive society through their commitment to building bridges of understanding.

Special recognition goes to the dedicated individuals whose leadership has brought the program to life. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Angela Chamosfakidis for her essential guidance and to Ms. Julia Tokatlidou and Ms. Eleni Athanatou, Director and Assistant Director of the “Youth to Youth” Program, for their unwavering commitment to nurturing the next generation of ACS Athens Global alumni.

ACS Athens is building a future grounded in compassion, leadership, and a global perspective. This legacy of service and commitment exemplifies the values our alumni community holds dear and celebrates in each new generation of ACS Athens graduates.
