Dear ACS Athens Community,
The 2026–2027 academic year has gotten off to an exciting and very positive start and is progressing smoothly, with our students embracing their academic, athletic, and extracurricular experiences to the fullest. Our Board of Trustees, administration, faculty, staff, professionals, and I look forward to supporting and celebrating our students’ continued success and growth in all areas of their education, guided by the mission and vision of ACS Athens.
Every great school is built on a strong foundation—and ACS Athens is a testament to this, as its future has been built by the people who believed in it over the years. For more than 80 years, generations of students, families, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends have helped shape ACS Athens into the school it is today.
Now, it is our turn to help shape what comes next. The future of ACS Athens is not somewhere ahead of us. It is something we can begin building on now.
On Friday, February 19, 2027, we invite our community of parents, alumni, and friends to join us in coming together at the Hotel Grande Bretagne for the 2027 ACS Athens Gala, as we continue our commitment to:
Building the Future of ACS Athens Together
We invite you to join us for an evening of celebration, friendship, music, inspiration, and giving—and to become part of the continuing story of ACS Athens as we build, together, the school our students need today and for the future: a school with more opportunities, new spaces, innovative learning, which will continue preparing young people to become architects of their own learning to make a difference in an ever-changing world as conscious global citizens.
This evening is more than a wonderful celebration. It is about us coming together to build on the 80-plus years of ACS Athens with purpose.
The next exciting chapter of our school's story has not yet been written; let’s write it together!
We look forward to celebrating ACS Athens with you on February 19, 2027.
Warmly,
Peggy Pelonis, Ed.D
President
