At sixteen, the answer gets more complicated as we consider factors beyond the best fit for our passions, interests, and strengths.

An answer could be swayed by what seems like the responsible choice.

Or the popular choice.

Or a parent’s preference.

But the profession you are definitely NOT going to choose is the career you have never heard about. And yet, it could be the career of your dreams - if only somebody had told you about it!

Enter the Knowledge Series - a constantly-evolving digital career bank bridging today’s world with tomorrow’s potential careers to help young people imagine their career possibilities. 

With the help of professionals and experts from a variety of careers around the world, including journalists, doctors, entrepreneurs, athletes, artists and many more, the Knowledge Series, empowers students to delve deeper into what our fast-changing world might look like in the future so they can begin thinking about their professional place in it.

Through the Knowledge Series, hosted by the Institute of ACS Athens, experts help broaden students’ horizons through short videos (about five minutes) featuring:

• A summary of their own professional experiences and highlights and what makes their career interesting
• An overview of what educational background skills are important in the profession
• A forecast about how the field is anticipated to change in the future

Experts are even invited to serve as mentors to help continue the transformation journey that all started from that perennial childhood question and whose next phase opens a world of opportunities - from selecting the right college to internships and, ultimately, an inspired career matched to one’s passions, interests, and strengths.
