The ACS Athens Global Entrepreneurs Group recently held its first meeting on May 21st at the newly established coffee shop of alumna Vivien Geyr, Class of 1993 - Worship Coffee.
The inaugural meeting was organized and mediated by the group manager of the Entrepreneurs Group, Dr. Peter Papageorgiou - Class of 1993. The gathering brought together approximately a dozen alumni entrepreneurs and several current students for an engaging afternoon of conversation, networking, and collaboration.
Attendees shared their personal journeys, entrepreneurial backgrounds, and current business ventures, creating an atmosphere of openness and mutual support. The discussion also focused on what members hope to gain from the group as it continues to grow and evolve.
We heard from alumnus Constantinos Loucaides, Class of 2007 - https://www.linkedin.com/in/cloucaides/ , who explained his entrepreneurial journey creating MI Services - https://www.mi-eshop.gr/, growing from a small family-owned publishing house to a digital multidisciplinary corporation.
We also heard from recent graduate George Zakynthinakis, Class of 2022, who updated us on his new developments in his VIP transportation services LIM Transport - www.lim-transport.com, which is entering a new and exciting field.
Our gracious host for our inaugural entrepreneurs meeting, alumna Vivian Geyr, Class of 1993, opened up her newly established coffee shop, Worship Coffee, Papanikoli 50, Chalandri 152 32 - https://www.worshipcoffee.gr/, and shared the challenges and solutions encountered in her newest entrepreneurial endeavor.
One exciting idea that emerged was hosting Pitch Sessions, where alumni can present new business concepts and receive constructive feedback, advice, and encouragement from fellow entrepreneurs within the ACS Athens community.
This inaugural gathering is another example of how ACS Athens remains connected across generations. It demonstrated how alumni across the globe continue to support one another long after graduation while fostering opportunities for mentorship, collaboration, and professional growth. It also reflects the ongoing commitment of the ACS Athens Global team to strengthen and expand our vibrant alumni community.
We hope to see you at our next event in Athens; and bring your entrepreneurial spirit and ideas!
Please make sure all your ACS Athens friends are signed up to the ACS Athens Global Alumni website and make sure you join the Entrepreneurs Group.
