It is with extreme sadness that we share the passing of our beloved teacher Ms. Tula Aravanis on April 13, 2023.

She was at ACS Athens from the late 1950’s to the early 90’s, where she taught math - mainly middle school.

When news of her passing was shared, here are just a few of the messages of love and condolences that were shared.

"Very sad. One of my teachers whom I will always remember and have in my heart." - Ann Siotas Tabourlos

"A kindhearted person with a warm smile; may she rest in peace.  Ζωή σε σας, να ζήσετε να την θυμὠσαστε. - Vasiliki Vafiades

"I'm so saddened with this news. She was a wonderful and classy lady. I will always remember her lovely smile and her kindness." - Demitra Stratis

"We will always remember Tula for her humor, style and collegiality! Her presence at the June reunion will always be remembered dearly as we keep her in our hearts." - Chris Perakis

"She was my 7th grade Math teacher. I was thrilled to see her at the 2015 reunion. Rest in peace, your family is in my thoughts on this sad occasion." - Tina Kambos-Sherman

"Ms. Aravanis was my math teacher in 7th grade. In a weird twist, the room she taught me in is now my classroom. I recall the challenge of being a 7th grader and how miserable I was at the time, and how I would look at how put together Ms. Aravanis was and I'd wonder how such a class lady kept her cool and composure with all of us. I was not a strong math student and yet I still think about my time with her all through these years." - Alison Jasonides

Our condolences to her daughter Eleni Aravanis and her family.

Forever in our hearts!
