Former ACS Athens teacher Stu Maloff recently shared this with us, and we're proud to pass it along to our global alumni network:
Back in 2013ā2015, Stu taught 3rd grade at ACS Athens, where one of his students was Andrej StojakoviÄ. Although Andrej attended ACS Athens during his elementary years, we are proud to recognize that anyone who has attended ACS Athens for more than six months is considered part of our alumni communityāand many of his former classmates may remember him from those early days.
Fast forward to todayāAndrej is now playing college basketball for Illinois and has reached the Final Four, an incredible achievement at such a high level of competition š
Even more meaningful is the memory Stu shared: a photo from their 3rd Grade Wax Museum, capturing a young Andrej long before this exciting chapter in his journey.
For those who may not know, Andrej is also the son of Peja StojakoviÄ, a three-time NBA All-Star and two-time NBA Three-Point Contest champion.
We celebrate Andrej's success and love seeing these full-circle moments from our extended ACS Athens family. Wishing him continued success on and off the court!
