Mum, Did You Always Know? (Μαμά, εσύ πάντα ήξερες;)

Flora invites all fellow alumni, faculty, friends, and members of the ACS Athens community to join her in celebrating this special milestone.

At the heart of Flora’s book is a question nearly every child hears: “What do you want to be when you grow up?”

The story follows a young girl named Markella, who turns to her mother, father, grandmother, and grandfather to learn about the paths they chose in life. Through their stories, she discovers an important lesson: we do not always have to know exactly where we are going from the beginning. What matters is continuing to explore, discover our purpose, and pursue what makes us happy.

It is a warm story about family, self-discovery, and having the courage to follow your own path. As Markella learns, no two journeys are exactly alike—and growing up is not simply about deciding what you will become, but also about continuing to search for what brings meaning and happiness to your life.
