One thing that sets ACS Athens apart from other schools is the numerous opportunities for students to choose their academic options that elevate their strengths, from math and science to history and literature, but also the Creative Arts. In fact, there is a strong tradition of talented artists that started exploring their talents while attending ACS Athens, either through the IB program or as a way of expressing themselves through assignments and personal projects. 

We are incredibly proud of the work these alumni artists are doing, which is why ACS Athens Global is introducing the “Art Collective” - a new networking group designed as a welcoming, supporting community where alumni artists can share and celebrate their art. This is one of two networking groups ACS Athens Global is launching in early 2024 to bolster networking opportunities among alumni with similar careers and interests. 

The Art Collective group on ACS Athens Global is a destination where artists are encouraged to share their artwork, in a type of virtual gallery for the alumni community. There are currently seven alumni artists featured in the Art Collective, but the goal is to expand the number of artists and works shared in order to celebrate and support all of the alumni artists - whether they graduated decades ago or just last year. 

In addition to sharing creative works of art, the Art Collective welcomes updates from members to be added in the “Share Your Art Story” section, which will help inspire and encourage other artists in various stages of their creative journey.

Alumni Artists Are Invited to Join 

This group was designed to celebrate and support our alumni artists so all are invited to join!

• To become an Art Collective group member, log on to ACS Athens Global as a registered member (www.acsathensglobal.org) and select ‘Groups’ in the ‘Networking and Careers’ section on the main navigation bar. From there, you can request to join the Art Collective group.

• To contribute art to the Art Collective gallery, please email a short bio along with images of at least three of your works to info@acsathensglobal.org. 

Very soon the Art Collective will be as dazzling and diverse an artistic destination as the gallery scenes in the world’s largest cities!
